New BalanceWomen's 877 V1 Walking Shoe

These are the best walking shoes I’ve ever had. They were unavailable for a while, so instead of buying some thing else I just waited. I wore my old shoes until they were virtually falling apart. This is the picture of my old shoe and my new shoes. I’m so happy to have this nice wide toebox. Love them!!!

Really like the shoe, toe area should be a little narrower

My feet are like Freddy Flintstones. My toes are very similar in height, and my toes (5) are wider than my heel. So, always have to wear shoes that have a “box” toe . They 887V1 are perfect for my 68 year old feet. Light to wear, so comfortable and I enjoy where them

I’ve worn New Balance for many years. These shoes give me the right support & fit my foot great!

The laces were a bit long for me. I had to double knot them. I liked the toe space as it was wide enough for me.

New Balance is one of the only brands I can wear. I have long narrow feet and New Balance is always more comfortable than other brands I have tried.

If you like new balance quality these are nice but not as thick as the other ones I am normally. used to. I bought these as an extra summer pair for walking but less support. otherwise, they look nice, more like a KEDS style show but better quality. size I got half a size larger in wide fits perfectly everyones feet are different. they are soft and comfy so yes I recommend

I had read that New Balance has a good foot bed for orthotics so I ordered these. The fit is great, the foot bed is removable and my full length orthotics can be inserted. Also the toe is nice and wide. A wonderful shoe that I would highly recommend.

With a balance issue, I always worry about shoes that are too soft and have little 'structure' on the outside...these are a mix of mesh and leather, which I am testing to see if 'structure' is enough because too much mesh and foam feels like I am walking on trampoline...for senior is not so good. I do like the large toe box that does not cramp the toes. Only thing...I always wish for a wee bit 2-4mm? more elevated heel...too flat can be an issue....ok after a week.

You get what you pay for. Very happy with these New Balance shoes that provide a wider sole. I tried saving money and bought runners from Walmart. They had a narrower sole and it resulted in knee pain. That's been reduced since wearing these.I'm happy they're less expensive than buying the latest style at the New Balance store downtown, too. 😁 Thanks, Amazon.

I've always liked New Balance, so maybe this pair of shoes was just an aberration.The insole that comes in the shoe is just barely satisfactory. These shoes are really meant to be worn with an orthotic or store-bought insert for fit and for comfort.The stitching is just satisfactory - no loose stitches, but lots of hanging threads which I had to cut off.
