So I read several reviews before I purchased and saw some that said it taste earthy or like dirt! I bought the Mocha flavor and OMG! This is literally hot cocoa! Only thing missing is some cream, maybe a bit more sweetner if you prefer it sweet and some marshmallows! I promise if you want your kids to have a healthier solution drinking cocoa, this is it!!! Delicious! . . .Now for my Ryze drinkers, be sure to do a comparison for the benefits! They are both healthy mushroom drinks but both offer excellent but different benefits! I am adopting this drink as an added beneficial solution to my morning routine (I always had 2 cups of coffee so why not!), not a replacement because I want the best they both have to offer!! Looking forward to the other flavors!!! If you are on the fence, go ahead and get this Host Defense! It won't disappoint!

Perfect for relaxation. No caffene as far as I know. Doesnt taste like coffee but hot chocolate

I have been a subscriber to this product for quite some time. It's a good price, I trust the manufacturer, and it tastes pretty good. I tend to mix it with my instant coffee in the morning. I don't know the medicinal value of the ingredients, but I do believe they can't hurt and are worth a try. Seems to be good on my stomach in the morning also. I will continue to subscribe and enjoy this product. Very happy, satisfied customer!

I am trying to get the benefits of mushrooms without the gritty texture or weird taste. This is good, but not super sweet, does have some leave behind grit at the bottom of cuo, but I have not tried mixing it with hot coffee or using a mini mixer to mix it up either.

I love mushrooms as adaptogens for that gentle boost of energy. I used to use OM brain fuel coffee, but this is much better. The flavor is balanced, nice and chocolatey and coffeewithout being too sweet. This has a bit of coconut sugar in it so the sweet is very gentle. Other brands have monk fruit sweetener, which can be overpowering. Host defense is my new favorite brand.

I’ve had this product before, but the place I was buying it quite stocking it. So glad I found it on Amazon! Great flavor and smooth texture!
