I have a 650 gallon tub this stabilizes the water perfectly with fairly frequent use. I would recommend this to anyone who owns a hot tub, saves you a ton of money on chemicals. When they delivered the spa, the dealer provided one of these sticks as part of the startup kit. I have been amazed at the difference this water treatment approach has made. Our last spa, before the main pump finally seized up, always gave off odors of harsh bromine chemicals. It was difficult to keep it balanced properly.With this product, the hot tub purifies itself. All you have to do is toss in a capful of non-chlorine shock after each use, periodically monitor the pH, and let the ozonator perform its function for a purified spa. Rinse the filters every 2 months and replace this mineral anti-microbial stick every 4 months, and that's all the maintenance required. Simple! One other tip: when filling or topping off the hot tub, put a charcoal filter on your garden hose so that the water going in is as clean as possible. The water starts out crystal clear and stays that way.

Bought this a month and a half ago and thought I was getting 2 because it was twice as expensive as all the other ones . Amazon wouldn't let me post that review . Well flash forward 40 days and it is shot. The last one I bought from someone else lasted 4 months and although the silver was depleted at least the media inside wasn't a block of cement. It looks like this one is made with really small rocks instead of the big ones others use. all are stuck in the bottom like cement . My Hot Springs spa which is less than 7 months old was shutting down because this thing was blocking the water from getting to the pump. Never buy this one....

You will be stunned at how well this works vs the normal bromine products used in Hot Tubs. Do yourself a favor and try this system for one time and you won't ever use anything else.

Product as advertised. Unfortunately I could not use it because I did not pay attention to the type of filter setup in my spa which utilizes a inner ecopure filtter and has a central rod that the filters slide over making the use of this item not applicable. But I have not given up hope and amy thinking I can make my own system to utilize the cartridge.

The product works great. I've used it for years. However, I wanted to get a 2-pack. This one was about $13 more than other ones on Amazon for a single filter, and I guess I assumed it was a two pack due to the price. It wasn't, a two pack, just A LOT more expensive. Lesson learned to pay better attention while ordering.

Perfect for my little hot tub, I just place it in filter compartment and ignore it. Seems to aid the IONRx in keeping water crystal clear.
