I have a 7 yr old, almost 5 yr old and a just turned 3 year old. They all love using this. We use it indoors. We got a old twin mattress underneath which fits perfectly. Then to protect the mattress from repeated beatings, I put a cheap 2 ft across gymnastics mat. This works great. My 3 year old accidently fell forwards off the bar twice and didn't get hurt. I followed the directions when setting it up so the middle support it slightly shorter, there is no teeter-totter effect; It's very stable.

Arrived after a month without any screws. Seller has a phone number which goes straight to a voice-mail that is full. Don't recommend.

All three of my daughters love it! They’re 11, 7 and 5. It’s adjustable and easy to put up when they’re done.

My daughter received this bar as a gift and is very into her own gymnastics. We have it set up in our basement on the carpet and is holding up well. She is above avg height for an 8 yr old at 53 in but is still able to do flips and turns on this bar. My 6 yr old boy has gotten into it as well and he is about 42 in. Its more sturdy than I thought. I would recommend having a mat or 2 underneath for falls. They use this daily and provides good exercise. It can be folded and takes a little work and def would not let the kids do that. When I assembled it, I was thinking there was no way this would hold my childs weight or would flip over when she grabbed the bars but its surprisingly quite sturdy now after a month of evaluation. I would recommend for the little gymnasts.

short and moving a lot when the kids use it. for very small children, and not for 6-7 yrs old. I would return if I could.
