Q: Is there a 12 hour (twice daily) cycle? I need plant lights on and off morning and evening.

you can have 12 hr or 24 hour so if you put the clock on a 12 hr cycle you should be able to have 2 on off cycles in a 24 hr period. Just not able to have more than one on off in a 12 hr period.

Q: Can you program this timer to turn on every hour but only stay on for one minute or less?

I do not believe that can be done; in reading the directions it appears to only allow one cycle in a 24-hour period (possibly 2 cycles, as the directions say the timer comes pre-set for a default 12-hor cycle if not intentionally set to 24-hour mode)

Q: What’s the shortest off/on delay that can be created? 1 minute?

I called Fosmon tech support and they said 1 minute is the shortest interval that can be set.
