I truly feel the bad reviews are not fair. I love this background. I did not iron it. I stretched it and cut the two faced strips to use in more places. This is a quality product. The sun rays are very faint but it’s not a disappointment as it adds just what we needed. Thank you!!!!

Packaging received was terrible. All wrinkled up and even spending time with the iron, as suggested in the packaging directions, it didn't help. Why they couldn't put it in a tube or roll it up boggles me. Colors were not as pictured. Drab looking. Sizing was not true.I would steer clear of this item as you'd be wasting time and money for a poor-quality product.

Nice fish tank background. I looked for a 50 gallon background and found the nicest one and it fits perfect. The piece is a material that allows the light to gently shine through unlike some of the hard plastic sheets, which creates a nice soft glow. The background came folded in an envelop and I ironed the piece like the directions suggested to get the wrinkles out. Some of the folds did not completely come out but they can not be seen once it is applied. It comes with four tabs of double backed tape so you can smooth the piece into place. AND the price is a bargain. In summary; very happy with my purchase.

The picture was supposed to be sunrays coming down through the water. after installed it is just a plain blue. Not pretty like the picture was supposed to be. Very disappointed in it.

Edit - I was able to use this with HOB filters with no issues. Because it hangs on the back instead of adhering to the glass you can’t see tte design very well, but I find I like the colorations better than the design.***As a FYI - this is a polyester cloth designed to hang on the back of the tank, not adhere to it. The cloth is well made and the print quality is great. You use double sided tape to tape it to the aquarium. While they include double sided tape, there was not enough strips for a 48 inch wide one.I personally can not use it because of my hang on the back filters. Visually you can’t get it to lay flat with a HOB filter. There will be ripples

Love this as a background on my aquarium. Fits perfectly!

This is a piece of fabric. It needs to be ironed to get the creases out. It took me a while to get the iron to the correct temperature to avoid destroying the fabric. Very thin. Once temp was there, ironing took me about 20 more minutes, going over the creases. Over and over.After cutting to size, it took me a while to figure out and get the double stick take off of its holders. You end up with the fabric hanging by the tape at the corners. Hope it holds.I suspect experienced hobbyists will fly through the install. Not me.

I had no clue that this aquarium background required an iron to smooth out the folding lines from packaging. It’s 2024, I don’t own an iron, none of my friends had an iron, I don’t know where to even buy an iron besides checking thrift stores. To secure this 30 inch long background to your tank they literally provide 4 pieces of double sided tape😑. I worked at a pet store for years and I’ve never come across anything as cheap or low quality as this background. I have only seen them come rolled up so they have no folds or creases. This one? Came folded up like a blanket. This background has 4 12 inch long folding lines that will most likely be there until I replace this thing with something higher quality.. complete waste of money!!

Nothing upsets me more than reviews that are not correct. Don't listen to the bad reviews, this product is great. I used Magic tape to adhere it to the tank, and wrinkles came out with iron very easily. If it gets wet it dries very quickly, no issues her. This turned out amazing.
