Love the tool till it stopped being accurate
I bought this instrument in January, its now april.I replaced a set of Acura (No longer made but really good ) calipers that I used for 20 years.I loved the dual function dial since I work in camera and optical machining and frequently have to go back and forth between imperial and metric! These calipers worked great until they started skipping off zero. You would check zero , measure, and then verify zero and it would not be zero any more. I've been doing precision machining for 40 years and do not abuse instruments so it was not mishandling or not knowing how to use the measuring tool....this thing simply has a mechanical issue !I sent an e-mail and no reply in a day so I called and got Voicemail!I will update here if they resolve the issue ....the tool was great while it was accurate but now I am disappointed. It resulted in a scrap of a simple part ( thank goodness it was not a real complex job) but I will now be cautious to trust this thing again! If they fix it I will correct this post but for now don't buy this thing...its got problems and the company is not very responsive!

Needs re-clock 7 months in
I actually liked these while they were good. but they jumped a tooth and are sitting 90 degrees off 12 ~.026 & ~.68. normal calipers are easy too reclock but this has 2 fingers so you tear it apart pull the pointers and reclock pushing pointers down (kinda like those analog clock kits). The driveshaft on the inch must of been damaged removing it. Honestly i may of done it in but it shouldn't jump a tooth like that in 7 months. Company is super nice and responsive from website email. but their website says no warranties so I might be out of luck.update...They did not warranty it as expected. but these are precision measurement tools and care matters for them, they cant warranty stuff that can be destroyedby misuse. (mine were/and handled with care). However emailing them they did send a new caliper for like 10 bucks off. Which I did because these are really nice. I like them about as much as my expensive mitutoyo (almost lol)

Excellent For the Price
Very accurate dial caliper that reads inch and metric simultaneously via two needles and scales. In many respects it is a Mitutoyo copy in that the rack is covered and has the teeth pointing down to help prevent dirt and debris getting into the teeth and affecting readings. I checked inside and outside measurements with certified gauge blocks from Accusize and a inside ring gauge from Insize. Measurements were dead on so it is accurate. Feels as smooth as my Mitutoyo dial caliper. IMO definitely worth the money but remember that a dial caliper has to have the rack and pinion kept absolutely clean for proper operation. It is much more sensitive to dirt than a good industrial grade digital or vernier caliper.

Well made, solid construction
Well made, solid construction. Very helpful are the dual dial hands for measurements in Metric and "American" units. Impressed enough after purchasing the 6", to later pick up the 8" as well.Update after normal use: measurements are no longer repeatable. For example, fully closed, the reading varies over a range of 0.004" from cycle to cycle. Changed rating to three stars since okay if that much error is acceptable.

Great replacement for digital calipers on the fritz.
Works really well. Was using digital calipers prior as I needed both metric and standard for my job, but it seemed like half the time I needed it the battery was dead, or they would lose their zero halfway through using them. These ones work wonderfully as a replacement. I love that you get metric and standard easily viewed on the dial.Only had them a little bit, but so far they have had no drift on the dials, such that both the standard and metric dials read 0 when they are fully closed. One potential downside I could see is if they drift I would need to zero them separately for metric and standard, which could be a little annoying.
