German G3 Leather Sling, Used

Mine came in serviceable condition. A tiny bit rougher than I would've expected. But it still gets the job done.

A genuine leather sling for CTME or G3 leather has been in storage and benefits from a light oiling or leather conditioner but mine was serviceable as is. Smells of storage as an authentic item should.

Wanted a sling, got a sling.

I was expecting a little better but for a piece of previously issued kit that's probably been bouncing around different warehouses since the G3 was taken out of mainline service its condition could be far worse. As an example goes it's still in good enough shape to be given to a leather worker to be copied into a new sling.

Exactly what I ordered, nicer than what I was expecting on condition.

Only complaint and it is small- the tail of the sling is WAY curvy, may have to do something later on, we'll see. Other than that its a leather sling with good (worn) hardware Fit's perfectly my 870 with a SGA stock and normal cap hardware.

Cheap and it original leather

I would classify this as "new old stock" before I would consider it "used". There was a small amount of verdigris on the brass rivets, which came off easily with an old toothbrush and the leather was rather dry and stiff; easily cured with a little oil. As some may have mentioned the button on the loop end wasn't the easiest to fasten, but then it won't unfasten too easily either. All in all a great addition to my PTR 91. Gonna order a couple more for some of my other bullet launchers. There is just nothing like real leather around boom sticks.
