Color Wonder Crayola, Mess Free Fingerpaints and Paper, Art Tools, Great for Travel

I was delighted with this product. It is completely mess free and the perfect way for my girls (aged 2 and 4) to spend a cold winters day indoors. The fact that they handled the gel-like paint with their hands gave an added and educational sensory experience and added to the fun. The fact that the paint is clear and immediately results in the desired colour on the special paper is pure science that (apart from the obvious educational benefit) is great for a mom struggling to work through loads of laundry. The paper is strong and the paint dried into beautiful, soft pastel colours. We also used the paint to make their little hand prints on the paper. It came out so beautifully and I thought that this might be a great idea for making hand and foot print keepsakes for small babies too. Especially since the paint is mess free and non-toxic.Overall a great product that even kept my 2-year old happily occupied for a morning of fun. They also had a little bit of paint left at the end of the session!

Big hit in my house. The paint is clear but changes color when it hits the Color Wonder paper. It is a gel like texture and it is possible to get too much gel paint and then you need to move it around or it won't dry nicely. But it is fairly mess free and the kids love it! Just make sure you let their artwork dry properly and push around any excess gel spots.

My son is 23 months and I love and highly recommend this product. I tear out a page and help him open and close the paints. He dips his finger in and smears it on the page. The paints all appear clear. A lot of fun but not a lot of mess! Very cool idea! Didn’t even know this existed. Makes finger painting much more manageable!

Got this as a gift and I’m overall happy with it. My only complaint is that it seems a tad bit beat up. The kid I got it for won’t care at all, but it just makes part of me wonder if it’s really new. Regardless, I am happy with it. My kid will have a blast with this and I won’t have to worry so much about mess! One thing to note is that it can still be messy as the waxy substance can still get everywhere. The color just shows up on the paper, but there can still be residue everywhere else.

It says mess free, but what it really means is it doesn’t stain anything. It’s still super messy, because the kids wipe it on everything, but it’s finger painting so that’s the point of it. A hard film stays on whatever they touch. It comes off easily with water, so for that I gave it five stars. Kept them busy and they had fun.

All the paint looks just like colorless vasaline jelly so all the paints look the same (you need to look at which container you got it out from to know what color it is). And when you use it, it takes a few seconds for the color/paint to appear, so the child pretty much needs to envision what they want to do before they do it, or else it won't come out right. This may be fine for some children, but not all - especially special needs or younger children. It really is easy to clean though, but this is a one-time use for us and we're going back to regular fingerpainting.I would give it a 3.5 stars but since we can't give half stars, it'd have to be 3 despite it being pretty need b/c of the restrictions needed for children, and the fact that I'll never use it again.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer from my 3 year old. He loves to paint but I am not fond of the mess that comes along with it so I thought we'd try this. It is wonderful, when you open the 'finger tips' the paint is actually clear until it touches the paper so if you get it on the table or walls or clothes there is no stains! The paper sheets are big sized so there is lots of room for him to paint on. He had a blast doing it and I felt more comfortable not worrying about stains, yay crayola!

I bought these for my almost 3 year old to use on a flight, since I needed to entertain her but didn't want a mess. I was qmazed at the brilliance. They provided over qn hour of entertainment and she was so proud showing off her artwork. The only part I didn't love was that while there is no color to the paints, they did make her fingers stixky but that was easily solved with the help of one baby wipe.

Great! Not messy at all compared to normal paint. One wipe and you have clean little fingers and nothing on the chair, table or floor.It doesn’t show up instantly like paint, you do have to tell your kid to wait a second for the colour to appear!
