JulepEyeshadow 101 Crème to Powder Waterproof Eyeshadow Stick, Desert Matte

Got Desert Matte. Did not work at all for me. Had to swipe many times to get any colour and the sponge end dissipated any semblance of colour (despite following Juleps instructions to pre-swipe) . Also pigment broke up on my lids. Ended up using it as a primer/base with powder shadow on top lika Mac Paintpot.

I really like these eyeshadow sticks. I love the way they glide on and last all day. I dust a layer of the same color powder shadow over it and it doesn’t budge, but does not dry or burn or sting my eyelids as other long wearing shadows do. Great product and I have introduced it to many of my friends and they are also saying the same thing. We all love these.

This product stays put and doesn't budge! I find that it works well not only as an eye shadow, but also an eye shadow primer. The neutral color and non-shimmer properties also means it's ideal for me to use as a concealer to hide a bit of darker skin on the outer corners of my eyes (a very tricky area for me since most concealers settle into the fine lines there).Love this product AND this color. It's perfect!

As an older woman I prefer powders but creams are easier to apply. As we age our eyes get creases and cream settles in those creases more than powder. I thought this will be the best of both worlds easy application that dries as powder. I an still on the fence for this. You have to press hard especially with light colors. It does dry quickly and it does last for a long time. At this point I think for me the problem will be the longevity. It is a cream stick and as you press to get it on your lids it size diminishes pretty quickly. With shipping you will easily pay close to $16.00 if not more in some areas. I don't know that I would call this a value however at this point I don't know how many applications I will get for my money.

I’ve always had trouble with eye shadow (makeup in general). Blending and shading just aren’t my thing. But this? Just roll it on, no primer needed, and done! I love how easy it is. And I’ve worn in in high heat and humidity and it doesn’t smudge! I’ve only had it for a few months so I can’t speak to longevity but I have confidence in it!
