I'm going through about 5bags / week. At 12 cents per bag this is a really great deal & helps me out tons. Most comparable options are around 16-18 cents per bag. Either option is 2x as expensive as a standard 0.7mil trash can bag, but that is to be expected for the blue dye. The local city requires all recycling is in blue bags or they don't pick it up. I'm just glad we were able to remove so much trash from the landfill. Almost everything I interact with is recyclable.These fit perfectly in a 13 gallon - tall kitchen recycling can from Home Depot. The whole bag sits with a level cut at I'd imagine around 14 gallons, which allows overhang, but can make it tricky to tie if filled up all the way.I have experienced small 1/4 dime sized holes in the bags - I imagine the aluminum cut it. But I have yet to see something actually tear. And the holes don't bother me because my recycling does not smell. You're supposed to wash all the food off anyways. 1.2mil is a good thickness.

A strong bag. Large enough for my 13 gallon kitchen trash. Our local recycling company says we aren't doing it right. I bought these bags because they are labeled for recycling. I hope that's right. I just bought them and the first one will go out with tomorrow's trash pick up. If they aren't what our waste management company wants, I'm sure I'll hear about it. If I don't get fined for using the wrong bag, I'll be happy to give the product five stars. I give them four right now because they are strong and large enough and hold up well. The icing on the cake is to keep waste management happy.

Installing pull-out garbage and recycling bins under your counter is super cool, until you discover that it is difficult to find a suitable size recycling bag to line your bin. These are a good deal for this size bag. They are a little thin and I have poked my finger through them on occasion when tying them up, but they still can carry a lot of weight after they are tied. I can fill them with newspapers, which are quite heavy. You just need to make sure there are no pointy objects against the bag and they are fine. I will probably buy them again the next time I need some.

These bags are smaller than the ones I bought at the supermarket, and that is a good thing. I rarely used the entire large bag because it would be too heavy for me to carry. These are a perfect size to hold all of my weeks' recycling and they cost much less than the bags I formerly bought. I thought the lack of a drawstring might be a negative, but really, it's perfectly easy to tie these bags without the string; I don't miss it at all.

Bags are decent but the packaging is disappointing. They just come sort of folded all together in a pretty big cardboard box, which makes them awkward to store and dispense. I was assuming they would be in a nice roll like any other trash bags I’ve ever purchased. But they still work well for recycling.

I could not find blue recycling bags at the local grocery which are required to have recyclable items picked up with the regular trash since I only want one large trash container taking up space in the garage. These are a great value and much stronger than the typical store-purchased bags. 12/8/19 update. When available, the grocery recycling bags are $7.89 for 28 bags. The Toughbag recycling bags are definitely a better deal for heavier bags.

1st case of Bags are strong bags.. 1st Bag in the photo has metal spoons in it. Bag has not punctured.. will purchase again. Fits well.2nd case of Bags must have been a new design. It looks like a flaw because the circumference of the bottom and not the same as the top. I have not seen a trash bag bottom seal stamped this way.Light weight textured bag fit 10.57 (40L) can on the first case. The 2nd case (2nd picture) has a design flaw. The corners are inverted and sewn to make the bottom circumference not matching the top of the bag.
