Paper Cars

Similar to other reviewers, this is not entirely for children. The cars are intricate and thus difficult to cut, requiring precision. They are also difficult to glue together even for an adult. You're supposed to cut the pages out and color and assemble. But as other reviewers have mentioned, the pages are too flimsy for this (especially for kids to do). For the best experience copy onto card stock for a more robust car. Have the kids color and the parent cut and assemble. With the physical version we've found that the pages are easy to copy on a home copier/scanner, that way you can make as many cars as you want. (I don't know why they offer a kindle version of this book. If there were an easy way to print pages from a kindle then that would make sense, but I haven't been able to find an easy way.) Kids about age 10 and up with good fine motor skills may be able to cut and assemble, but with my two kids (age 7 and 4) I find that I'm doing most of the work for this.

Fun to assemble these cars. They are quite easy to assemble since they are semi scale. Paper stock is a bit thin so finished model is “wimpy”.Still worth the low price.

I purchased these books for my twin boys. I did expect these to be a bit easier to use. I also expected the cars to be perforated and they are not. It will be very difficult for younger children to cut out all the detail involved here. Plus you have to color every piece and cut out things like mirrors and interiors. These are very complicated and are adult leval. I would not purchase for a child.

I got this for my 8yr old son. He really loves it, however he did need help constructing some of the cars.

these are not perforated...takes a long time to cut them out intricately. Also, the paper is flimsy and not easy to work with. Not like the cars that Steak & Shake gives your kids

Amazon carries books that are easy to find and order along with reviews. This book is great for primary kids to color cut and put together...especially for those young ones who love cars.
