I previously reviewed the first book in this series and enjoyed it so I jumped at the chance to obtain the boxed series.Ellie is a vampire detective who is very smart, but she is limited by some very real fears. She has a crew of friends who supplement her weaknesses and team up with her to get to the bottom of each mystery.This is a wonderful detective series for beginning or intermediate chapter book readers. There are lots of supplementary illustrations to keep the story interesting, along with a few puzzles and bonus pages to make the books interactive. Most children enjoy becoming involved with characters in a series as they are well-developed and interesting.Highly recommended for budding detectives who love a good mystery with interesting characters and questions to answer.

I thought it would be 3 books but it was on thick book. Kids just received it.

The stories pull you in right from the beginning. I read these aloud to my Godkids and they did not want me to stop!! We have read all 5 books and they (including me) want more!!

I like this series because it is fun and engaging. It is a very fast read. It took only about 90 Minutes for me to read each story. My daughter who is three really liked it.

My daughter is 7 and is young enough for picture books but they don’t challenge her on her reading level, but pages full of words seem daunting to her and she is not a fan. She loved this! Such an imaginative story that kept her interested.

My 6 year old granddaughter loved this series.

Ordered this because:- Daughters are fans of Sleuth and Solve series and we wanted more mysteries- Female lead character- Female authorUltimately, this book didn't resonate with us.

This series is a favorite in our family! Not only does my 10 year old daughter love them, we all do! We read 2-3 chapters at night as a family. Sometimes we end up reading 4 or 5 chapters because we can’t wait until the next night to see what happens! This series is a definite must for 9-11 yr olds who like detective books!
