Right size for the job
I had a wood dapping block but it didn’t offer the different size divots to make my metal deeper and smaller around. This was perfect and it is sturdier than wood.

Worth it!
As a casual hobbyist it's more than I need but worth the price. Yes it's great for forming curved metal sheet models. This functional and beautifully crafted block could be on display in itself. It's not often you find items of such craftsmanship and design.
