Wrench works fine but...
The bit is JUUUUST shy of being made right. So it's a smaller hex for the high side, larger hex for the low side, and then the stock shaft... The stock shaft needs to be filed skinnier by a hair, to allow u to reach a bottomed out valve stem in the high side king valve, for a lot of brands. Works fine for Trane and Rheem so far that I've noticed, but I gotta whip out an Allen key for Goodman, Carrier, and Lennox. I haven't paid attention to every single brand or model. That's just what I know of so far. Seems to close all valves just fine, but just barely not enough bite to open the high side when it's tightened. Simple fix though. Lol still gotta remember to bring it home so I can stick it to my bench grinder.

Sturdy
Bought this HVAC service wrench for my apprentice. First thing I noticed is how sturdy it felt. The ratcheting teeth were nice and tight. Can’t comment on how it works in the field but it felt very durable compared to the others I almost contemplated keeping it and giving him mine lol

Works fine so far
Bought this before reading the reviews, there a lot of people saying their wrench bent quite easily and the hex key doesn’t fit the service valve. Well I have cracked 5 brand new Goodman condenser units without a problem. And to top it off the hex key actually fits. Now I can see it maybe being snug or two short for some other brand. But as of right now no issues whatsoever for my day to day installing Goodmans

Not proper size dont buy.
Waste of money. They do not fit in either side of the service valves. Nothing says screw you like leaving old service wrench home n bringing new one, only to drive 45 mins to supplier to buy a proper fitting one. Dont waste your money
