For some reason, these attract more mice than similar devices, and are much tougher.I have found these traps far beyond where placed with teeth mark's at the edges, but still usable.The same bait in these and similar traps, in similar locations, get more interest.Definitely recommended.

These appear to be a well built bait stations. Please use these if using bulk poison bait. You could be liable for negligence under penalty of law for using poison without a secure device. The mice/rats/squirrels could carry away non-secure bait into neighbors' property and expose children and pets. Do you really want a lawsuit on your hands? Do not take the risk. I am giving 3 stars due to I believe the opening for these are way too small. I know these are for mice, but the mice I have killed with traps in my area appear too large to fit into the bait station. I would be curious to how the rat stations would compare. I use these with the JT Eaton peanut butter green bait blocks.

Well the squirrels know how to get them open and they try to chew the plastic.

I love the fact that it has a lock cuz other animals tried to open and it didn’t harm them, also it is really a weather resistant

Works as advertised, use JT Eaton 709-PN bait. I did find it hard to figure out what baits fit in what bait container. Jt could better explain that in their marketing.

I could only get eight of them to stay locked. I have to wire the rest the lid kept on popping up.

It is a good product. I wish somehow we could secure it. Rackons and squirrels have taken a few of them. I see them working aroubd the house.
