Overall the board quality is good, But I was extremely disappointed to find that all 4 corners are chipped and 3 out of 4 are somewhat bent, and splayed, making them thicker than the rest of the board.If my current client hadn't requested me to start their painting immediately , even with the damage,I would be returning this board.

I bought 10 boards. First of all, when i opened the package, 3 of them were completely damaged (corners damaged, and even damages on the primed white surface). Also they came bended, not completely flat as they should. Since they are “flat” i had to glue some wood sticks on the back to give the board something to be hanged from; but the glue when cured, bended the surface even more, which obviously means that the surface is not strong and firm; its weak and bendable. Last but not least, i poured epoxy over them, but since the boards where uneven, bended and imperfect, i had to deal with a LOT o issues and the resin not curing perfect due to the imperfections on the edges of the boards and on the boards themselves. They are, BY FAR, the WORST BOARDS i have EVER bought, and will never buy them again nor recommend the product to anybody. If you are smart and are reading this review, DO NOT BUY THIS BOARDS. They are pure rubbish.

Its hard to believe this was "used." It appears to be in perfect condition and is exactly right.. for my project.I cannot say the same for UPS. The driver left it at the foot of my driveway (roughly 80yds from the house) on the edge of a public road. Fortunately my neighbor noticed and brought it to my door. "Driver Release" indeed.

I'm not a painter, so I can't comment on this product's intended purpose. What I can say is that I've used these for decades as backers for sketch pads, they work well for that, they're very sturdy and this is the first time in over 20 years I've found a need to replace any of them.

When this arrived the corners were smashed and the board beneath without the coating was exposed. Needed it for a project so I had to make due, but it was like this under the plastic wrap so I found that unprofessional. The box had no damage so it must have been packed that way.

This works great for support for watercolor and pastel paintings. Perfect for my 8x10 paintings. I use blue tape to tape down my watercolor paper or pastelmat and then I can paint with no issues.

I use this as a backing board to tape down my watercolor paper. It’s lightweight and works well on both sides if I am working on multiple things. It’s easy to put away at cleanup time as well.

My husband is an artist with an MFA in painting, and he's been in love with these boards since he tried them a few years ago. If you like your painting surface nice and smooth, this is a superior product. The paint glides on and you can create really interesting brushstrokes and effects. My only issue is actually ordering them from Amazon. I ordered them for my husband for Christmas and they arrived damaged. The boards are packaged in boxes that are way too big and the corners are not wrapped. Therefore, during shipping the board just slides around and the corners get extremely damaged.

I love these panels. I use them for acrylic paintings. Nothing wrong with the panels except sometimes the corners get damaged in shipping. Some protective covering over all 4 corners would be appreciated. My latest board came with the two bottom corners slightly damaged. These boards are expensive and I don’t always frame them. A cardboard corner protector and some bubble wrap should be used in shipping. They just come with a cling film over it and in a standard shipping plastic coated envelope, which is OK. But the board is heavier than ordinary cardboard and needs those corners covered while en route.
