It works
I misplaced the remote for this DVD player and purchased this in case I couldn't find the manufacturer's remote. I did find it, and now I have two. Which is a bit of overkill since I don't watch DVDs very often with all the free and pay ROKU (or Amazon Firestick) channels available. But it does the job and I'm glad to have a backup in case I temporarily misplace my manufacturer's remote again.

Worked perfectly
My old remote died on me. So I ordered a replacement through Amazon. It arrived on time and in good order and worked perfectly. I am very satisfied.

Remote for Megatek
I use the forward / rewind buttons alot on this remote while watching concert dvds so it only last me one year.Just look at your past orders and find the dvd player ordered then order another remote for $7.If you use your remote alot it is worth it.For whatever reason Homeline brand aaa alkaline batteries work the best when other brands will not work in this remote.Pull out the spring coil as needed.The player itself works great!

Very fragile
I love the Megatek player but the remote is very fragile and will flex in you hand. Don't drop it on the floor because it will break into several pieces. Buy a back up. I have 2 machines and 4 controllers and may by a couple of more.

Works perfectly
Bought this because the realtek all regions dvd player we bought was missing the remote. It worked perfectly out of the box, so I'm happy. No issues.

Works the same way the old remote worked, but...
...but the writing on the buttons is wrong, inverted. The buttons still do what those on the old remote did, but what's written on the right should be on the left, and vice versa. Some of them top/down instead of the reverse. Buy as a reflex, without looking, I know what buttons I'm supposed to press, so it's okay.
