Worth the price!
We cut back on pasta since we are strictly GF to support a family member with celiac disease. This is some of the very best GF pasta we can find. Since we can’t buy two of these 3 in local stores, we subscribe to the multipack. The cascarece is especially rare and we all really enjoy it! The so-called fusilli is really rotini or rotelli so don’t get your hopes too high - but I like that you can cook it to al dente or even tender without the spiral bits falling off like some other brands. It’s a nice change from the usual penne, spaghetti and elbows. I wish bow tie pasta was in the mix in place of penne, but I keep my subscription, anyway.

This Is The Best I've Had
I bought these because I bought the America's Test Kitchen Gluten Free Cookbook here on Amazon and they did taste tests on many gluten free brands. They all voted this the best and i agree. The taste and texture is great.One of my criteria is that it has to hold up when boiled, recooked with casseroles, or reheated in marinara sauce. I've tried other brands and they literally fall apart if boiled in soups.This is a good value too. It has a nice mixture of varieties and some are hard to find and upwards of $10 elsewhere.When i use this order, i will put it on my subscription.

The best gluten free pasta
Jovial makes the best GF pasta. It's made with Italian ingredients and has a great consistency, not gooey like so many other GF pasta products. Just make sure you pay a lot of attention to not overcooking, for GF pasta you are better off al dente. Taste frequently when you get close and pull off as soon as you're close to done.

Cook it Longer
As someone with a series of digestion issues, I’m thrilled to have found a good pasta I can eat. That being said, it takes a while to cook in order to be decent. Much longer than what’s labeled on the box for sure.

Get your favorite pasta shapes gluten-free!
My wife has celiac disease, and I love pasta. We managed to make it work by going store to store and literally rating every gluten-free pasta we can find for taste, texture, how forgiving it is to cook with, etc.We have our gold standard pastas, our backup options if the gold star isn't available, and our "let's make something else tonight, honey" pastas. Jovial has been one of our gold standards for years. It cooks up fast, has great texture compared to wheat pasta, holds sauces well, and also tastes great with just butter and parmesan. Best of all, It comes in a variety of shapes, some of which we can't find in any other GF brand. This set is the perfect example, since literally nobody else I can find has caserecce! We make a couple dishes that just don't taste right with any other shape (don't judge me), so this was an exciting find!The price is also very reasonable compared to other GF pastas. 5 Stars!
