Very useful item. I bought this for a person with a brain injury who has trouble reading well. It is so helpful and the person has more independence and understanding while reading.

It only translates a word from English to Mandarin. It does not translate to any other languages, and it also does not provide definitions.

This pen is amazing. My daughter is a dyslexia specialist and she has these in her classroom. My grandson is dyslexia and he wanted to always do his homework in her classroom so he could use one. Now he has his own. He is intelligent and this pen helps level the playing field for those who learn differently.

This is easy to use as long as you can see what you're scanning and slide pen accurately.

I had my doubts about this working. It has its offline feature so you can test it out and surprisingly it works. The only con it might have would be that it disconnects from my internet so often but that might just be an issue on my end. But besides that it works well offline

Personal opinion: This is the "upgraded" version according to the product title. I would think they would take away the MP3 folder (who would use the MP3 folder on this device when now most people have either smart phone/ tablet/ MP3 player and /or all the above. They have clearer sound and cheaper option with free apps ) and maybe add different language dictionary. If not all, at least the most commonly use, like Japanese/ Korean/Spanish/French. Or enable user(s) to be able to download dictionary file either on their site or some free site.As for this device, I've tried it on a book, flashcard and my ugly handwriting (minus) on screen ( if it would capture words ). Books and flashcard, no problem. Handwriting, not so much accurate ( maybe I do have very ugly handwriting, lol! ) I will try the screen later ( probably will not update that if it will work or not cos it's not a deal breaker for me if it doesn't )Dictionary, like I've said on my personal opinion, I wish they have it in other languages beside Chinese and English. But the Chinese dictionary pretty accurate.Touchscreen, sometime lag. I have to "backtrack" and then it will work.Overall, it is a decent product. But get it when they give a nice discount coupon.

I thought I had a hit with this device but still a miss don't get me wrong works for other languages but Japans written vertical is a miss 😒😓 (Been trying to long to get a translation of a book that never is coming.)

I really love this product! it is accurate, could be faster for translation but so far so good!
