Original order came with broken pestle, so that was a little embarrassing to have the gift opened on Christmas like that, however after contacting their customer service I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they got back to me and sent me an entirely new set in between the holidays. New set was completely intact and performed beautifully. With the heavy weight of the morter you never feel like it's going to tip on you or move around the counter, plus it is a very stunning piece to add to a kitchen. I would recommend this highly if your in the market for a set, and if there is anything wrong with your product I have no doubt their customer service will be quick to respond and rectify the situation

The weight and flat bottom of this make it ideal for herb grinding, etc. It is much better than the pedestal type! The materials are excellent and I can see this lasting my lifetime.

Looks beautiful on the counter. It is a heavy mortar and pestle. It stays put while in use. I have used it for grinding freshly toasted spices and guacamole - both have come out beautiful. Happy with my purchase. :)

I've bought and had to exchange in one week after using because the wooden base no longer stick. After using it for few more weeks. The new one did the same thing. Just look good but not properly made.
