Cheap and it shows
The pickle ornament was of very poor craftsmanship. Not at all what I expected from the pictures. The box, which I assumed was sturdy, is made of tag board like paper. Overall, disappointed.

Hideous!
These could not have looked worse had they been wadded up construction paper with newspaper string. Will either return or donate.

A new tradition
This is a German custom. My wife and I are now giving an ornament to each of our kids every Xmas.

Poor Quality
I wish I had better things to say about this, but unfortunately I do not. We took the ornament out of the box and put the hanger on it. When we went to hang it on the tree the top of the ornament came apart, the ornament fell, and shattered to pieces.

Tricky to find
This worked good for us. Our last pickle had a red hat which made it too easy to find on the tree. This one blends in and makes it more difficult for my teens who still love doing this on Christmas morning.
