Two years on, this has effectively stopped the bamboo from spreading.

Weak Product
Started to crack and then it totally ripped when we started to unroll it. The first couple of feet are completely useless as you need every inch of these 18 inches to assure the jumping of rhizomes from your property to your neighbors. Cracks at the top (specifically where you make cuts) start showing after a couple of months. I don't recommend this product especially if you'll be installing a slope and plan to cut it to fit the landscape. Cutting the material = guaranteed ripping.

Not as flexible as I expected
I was expecting it to be a little more flexible like a thick vinyl. It will break if it gets bent.Otherwise seems like it should hold up for stuff with weaker roots. Not sure how well it will hold up to bamboo.

Great barrier
Thickness is just right to work with andbe tough. I used sheet metal cutters to str it. I have a nuisance neighbor and this was a great barier along with pavers between our lots. No more issue with roots, water drainage, or meandering edging. With the depth, it isn't going any where!

Buy the better brand (not this one)
Came cracked and ripped in multiple places. Incredibly brittle and won’t work for a barrier. I suspect poor manufacturing as this plastic is really brittle.Cheaper than the other brands but not worth it.

Arrived fast!
I expect this stuff will do what it's designed for, however, it's WAY overpriced for what it is.

Rhizome Stopper
Really saved using Prime on the shipping.The barrier was easy to use (the hard part was digging the 100 foot trench 2 feet deep!).It seems strong enough and firm enough to stop bamboo rhizomes...time will tell.I left approximately 2 inches exposed to catch rhizomes going over the top.

Not fit for purpose
This product is not fit for purpose, as soon as you roll it out and put it in the trench and then start backfilling the barrier just starts to fold on itself.............so you end up with a wavy line, which look absolutely awful. I know it’s more expensive, however the 2mm thick version is worth the extra money and is easier to work with.
