We purchased a size Small for our 7 year old’s birthday and he has a little room to grow. Big Boy sizes, so Small is meant for 6/7 year old!

Q: If a woman who usually wears an adult medium were to get this shirt, would a large be appropriate?

I bought it for my grandson who wears an 8/10 and it was too large for him. I think a large one should fit you fine.

Q: what size is equivalent to 4t? Or for a 40 lb?your sizes say small,med etc.. should update it

I was looking for around size 7 so ordered a medium. It is very big on him but not outrageous. So it runs large.
