Great brush for removing mane & tail tangles for Horses

This brush is great! I was actually excited to see my horses come in covered in a bit of mud, so I could try this out! I haven’t used it in shedding season yet, but I imagine it would work great for that too.

A friend at my barn gave me an old one of these to use. I was so impressed, I decided to order a few new ones. These are THE best brushes. I am enamored with them. Sooo easy to use and versatile. VERY lightweight in your hand. They seem stiff and coarse, but the horses actually seem to enjoy the feel of them. You can use this brush just about anywhere on their body (with maybe the exception of the face - I'd stay away from that.) But all down the legs right to their hooves you can brush with confidence and the horses don't mind it. It works great for getting out loose hair as they shed their coats, great for getting caked mud off of them. Helps stimulate the skin and hair follicles to bring out the natural oils and sheen, and you can probably even use this to bath them. The only negative I have is regarding cleaning the brush itself. Hair and dirt get trapped easily in this and I've found it can be a bit tough to thoroughly clean out without soaking and washing the brush each time. I just scrape it on a corner or use a stiff curry to scrape excess dirt and debris out after each use - until it gets clogged enough it needs a full washing. Highly recommend this handy dandy grooming tool!

Great brush for getting mud out of long winter coats. It basically combs the mud from the hair. It’s too hard and stiff for summer coats but that’s ok. It’s my favorite winter brush.

All of the horses like it. Works better than a traditional curry comb. We have a horse who hates being groomed and tolerates this brush!

I am a groomer and use this when washing all my furclients. Absolutely love it and my dogs come out so clean.

This thing is so inexpensive but so effective! OTTB loves nothing more than to roll into the muddiest parts of his field. This brush reduces the time I need to spend removing all the cakes on mud from him way better than a shedding blade. Add to your cart!
