GYMENIST Weight Vest with Adjustable Straps - One Size Fits All

To start, this is a 25 lb vest for $25, so my expectations were not exactly high. With that being said this weight vest is one of the best values I have found for fitness equipment I have ever seen. I weighed myself then put the vest on and it actually came in at about 24.6lb, so close enough for me. The buckles on the vest are adjustable so it fits well once you have it adjusted to your size. I am a man so I am not sure if women would have any issues with fit. The clips actually have a flap under them to protect your chest somewhat from just being up against the plastic. I did end up with some bruising from push-ups, but nothing that I noticed during the workout. I have used this for weighted push-ups, pull-ups, squats, etc. and running, so it stays in place during many different movements. Great Deal

I wear this (along with  Nayoya Weighted Gloves - 1 Pound Each Glove for Sculpting MMA Cardio Aerobics Hand Speed Coordination Shoulder Strength and Kickboxing ) when walking, jogging, calisthenics, and practicing my simpler forms for Kung Fu (not terribly comfortable for crane or monkey rolls). The vest sits secure in an upright stance; in leaning stances it will move, but not a great deal.I have worn this under my uniform at class, it adds a slight bit of bulk visually, but little enough that my fellow students didn't know I had it on until I took my top off after class.As for the build; it seems solidly made; for the couple of months (not terribly long, I know) I've been using it (five - six days a week, one to two hours at a time) I've not had any stitching come loose or seams fail.Speaking of fit; if it helps: I am 5' 11" with a 42.5" chest and 33 inch waist. The vest fits comfortably snug.Considering purchasing a second one to keep in my car for hiking/class.

I walk daily and was wearing a 12-pound weighted vest for the last year. I decided to up my weight by a few points, and this style was very similar to what I had and was 6 pounds heavier, which would go well with the weighted gloves I also used. This fits very comfortably, though I do notice the bottom strap needs to be extended fully to go across my chest. The weight is nicely distributed across the shoulders, so while I notice the extra weight, these are not uncomfortable even after an hour of walking. The material is strong and serviceable. Should provide a nice lifespan for this vest.

It is a comfortable vest.easy to put on and off... I would give it 5 stars if it didn't hurt my back... It falls right on the waist of my back over my kidneys... And after 30 min my back is sore in that spot. I wish the pocket was somewhere in the front for my cellphone.

I've been using this vest (18 lb version) for about a week to supplement my daily walks. I also wear it around the house sometimes while doing chores. I can say that I'm very satisfied with this item. I'm about 5'8' and 170 lbs. This vest adjusts to my frame and stays put without shifting around. It is compact, and the weight is well-placed for my use and posture. I do not run with it on ( I'm not a runner), but it should be suitable for running. It did have a somewhat noxious odor when I pulled it out of the bag, but that has mostly dissipated.Overall, I think it's a great item!

As a firefighter, this comes in handy for daily off duty workouts. It gave me a little extra weight but in an extremely comfortable fit and not the traditional bulky form. My only issue is after a few months, a tiny hole has developed and the tiny sand beads are spilling out. So far, I haven’t found a customer support contact to help me remedy this issue. For now, it just sits in a corner and I miss using it.

The 18 pound version did not fit this 5'4" woman, so I returned it.The weight is some sort of sand, instead of iron, so there has to be a lot of vest. So much vest that it hung very low and wide, flopping around below my waist. Flopping doesn't work when you're walking or running.BTW, the listing photo is upside down.

I was using a weighted backpack (20lbs) for a few weeks, and it was hard on my back. This weighted vest distributes the weight better -- my back is not as tired after a hike. As a 18lbs of weight on your shoulder, it is very comfortable, and it fits me (male, 210lbs, 6'-2"), though I think a larger person up front than me would have a hard time getting the buckles to reach.

Soy exageradamente delgado y me cuesta desarrollar músculos. Alguna vez me pregunté si existía alguna camiseta con peso similar a la que usa Goku y lo más parecido que encontré que fuera compacto fueron los chalecos con peso. Me animé por fin a comprar este. Honestamente, me hubiera gustado que fuera más pesado. 10 libras, aproximadamente 4.5kg hasta para mí han resultado poco, pero igual y complementando con polainas en muñecas y tobillos pueda ayudarme. Aún así, ojalá y ofrecieran este producto con más opciones de peso. Dejando de lado esto que es una preferencia personal, el diseño está bien. Es cómodo y se ajusta hasta a mi cuerpo delgado. No obstruye y quiza hay quien hasta podría usarlo por debajo de la ropa si quieren que sea más discreto. Otra cosa que sí debo reconocer es que la presión constante que ejerce sobre mi hombro ayudó a deshacer una contractura que tenía en ese punto lo cual no me lo esperaba. Quizá el peso también haga que mantenga uno la espalda más recta, mejorando postura y eso es una ventaja extra.
