Tastes really good! Health benefits as well
I liked everything about this powder. It mixed well in water, in my protein shake, and it tasted good. I debated between this brand and other highly reviewed maqui powder but settled on this brand and glad I did. I would purchase this again. It's a deep dark purple color. This is what a google search has to say about maqui berry. Loaded With Antioxidants. Comparison of 3 brands
I compared 3 brands of Maqui Powder: Feel Good Organics, Kiva and Terrasoul.Color: The Feel Good Organics powder has the deepest color of the three. It's a very dark, rich, almost bluish purple. Kiva and Terrasoul are slightly more reddish and a lighter hue but Kiva is the lightest by just a hair. I'm not sure if the deeper color of the FGO powder indicates a higher level of anthocyanins.Taste: Kiva and Terrasoul taste exactly the same in my opinion. They have a berry taste with a faint hint of earthiness. FGO has a stronger, more pure berry taste.Grit: I added enough water to each powder to make a paste and let them sit for a while. Then, I spread them out on the plate to compare how gritty each paste was. They all appeared to be about the same.Price: I paid $11.99 for the FGO powder. Kiva and Terrasoul were bought using Subscribe & Save with a 15% discount for $12.74 and $11.89 respectively. Conclusion: I'm sure all three brands are great and have comparable health benefits but I will stick with Feel Good Organics due to the value, deeper color and better flavor.

Nursing my minor partial sore throat at the moment.
While the kitchen is being renovated and I don't have a back up, I am not getting enough berries in the diet. Therefore I bought this to make tea after having heard good healthfood reviews of this likely fad. No offense intended calling it a fad. Either way it is something fun and new to me. Had one dose so far. I took a heaping teaspoon of it in a big cup and added hot water to make a tea. About half does not go into solution after stirring. That's fine. One doesn't expect it to be smooth. At the bottom, near the end, I had gritty fine ground parts. So, I added a little more water and drank it down. I am not wasting any of this product given the high price. Insofar as my approach here is that I am consuming this as a medicinal food, it really doesn't matter if I like the taste. No. . . it's not bad but not good either. Taste and texture doesn't matter since one consumes it for health and nutrition. It's not offensive either. I will go with 5 stars since I think I am not experienced enough to know how and where to use it. Perhaps a quart teaspoon in a fruit smoothie next is the optimal use tomorrow. I have the feeling in my throat that it's healthy for me and likely doing some good by direct application down the cake hole in warm water.

Too Much of a good thing...
This might be fine for most people, but it gave me horrible diarrhea within 3 hrs of eating it (1 tsp)....everything else was the same in my diet and it was super obvious this was the culprit. Maybe too much of a good thing. :(

Great for blood sugar control
If you take more than the recommended amount you will see the results which you don't need to see. This supplement grabs excess blood sugar and delivers it to the kidneys to pee it out and if like me you had Strawberry Rhubarb pie with ice cream and decide to flush the sugar out of your system, you will pee blood clots. I was told this by a nutritionist after my doctor sent me for an ultrasound of my kidneys and scoped my johnson, prostate and bladder-ouch. Diabetics should include Maqui Berry in their regimen if they want to have sugary desserts. I am not an expert but just passing along what I was told by one. Oh, the blood clots are a one time thing if you go back to recommended dose which I don't mind now when I have the urge for rich dessert.

Have purchased many times
Would recommend- my household has gone through many packages of this maqui berry powder and we will keep purchasing. This brand doesn’t have chunky seeds in it which is nice when you’re just adding it to water or juice and not a smoothie
