Lisa Sorrell shares her extensive knowledge not only on bookmaking, but on the speciality of inlay and overlay. This book is like a bible to be read over and over. Multiple photographs to illustrate techniques. Makes me want to go and train further with her in the USA!!!! A must for all aspiring shoe makers.

Fantastic book! A treasure trove of information for the leather crafter. I'm so glad I bought this, it's answered all the questions I've had for years on the subject of leather inlay. In addition, the author is so helpful if you ask a question on her facebook page she replies.

What a beautiful book written by perhaps the most gifted boot maker of our time and perhaps of all time. It is so very well done that words do not adequately express the detail and work that is being shared in its pages. The book itself is a piece of art not to mention the incredible insight and masterpieces of work the author shares. A must read that will be considered a collector’s piece when out of print. I heartily recommend this book without reservation. It’s simply beautiful.
