I volunteer for force on force law enforcement and military training and I needed something that would work well against sim rounds and I wasnt going to shell out $300 for something real I would never use. So I needed something that would fit my huge noggin, that I could change up to fit my headgear underneath, and that would for sure stand up to more abuse than the typical airsofter and this helmet delivered.This helmet is HEAVY. Im a big guy and stay is pretty good shape and a few hour of wearing this and aiming down sights and I start to feel the fatigue. If im feeling it, then someone younger/smaller will for sure feel it, but this is actually also a pro because despite definitely not being mil spec materials, the thicker/heavier material will stand up to random bumps and sim rounds only register by sound. The side rails have already started to come lose with screws backing out, so I wouldnt trust them with ear pro adapters without lock tight or some modification, but I just wear my hearing pro underneath and mix up the internal pads.Pros:+Heavy decent construction for the money, seems to be good materials+Metal shroud for NVGs or mounts+Velco already placed on helmet+Large enough to fit large heads and accommodate headwear underneath+Definitely at the high end of airsoft helmets that I've encountered+Ventilation is adequate, I've never noticed my head overheatingCons:-Big and heavy, not for small people and weak necks-Screws started backing out making side rails looseThats about it for what I need. I dont need it to do anything else. I doubt I could have found a better fit for my need.

This surpassed my expectations by far. Never heard of Outry, they must be another Asian kno knock off brand. Either way this helmet is great for the price. The helmet has some decent weight to it, almost caught me off guard. The plastic it’s made of is extremely dense. Comes with padding to place wherever you like. Also, the NVG shroud is made of metal a step up from my other helmets. Also comes with ARC rails installed but I must add they can be tricky to slide your headset mount on at first. Eventually I got them on and they feel as if they aren’t going anywhere. Great buy, especially anyone looking to get an AirFrame replica!

If you have a head larger than 24 inches this helmet is great! My head is about 24 and 1/2 inches. I've tried a few other bump helmets, but the large sized ones were to tight. It is heavy., but the plastic is much thicker than what you see on the other brands. The pads remind me of the ones issued to the military, but these are much more comfortable The military issued pads are to hard, and give me pressure headaches if I wore them for more than about 30 minutes, these don't cause that. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the straps. They work, but they feel cheap. And I could never get them to hold comfortably. I upgraded the straps and now its perfect. It's a great helmet for people with larger heads.

For the price I was expecting some sort of plastic shell. This is a solid helmet. I was surprised at the quality. It is not ballistic but you could take a bat to the head with this thing. The pads connect easily and are very comfortable. It appears to be two pieces and you could adjust the size of the shell if you have a big melon head. My main use will be as an NVG mount as opposed to the skull crusher straps. The NVG sheath is aluminum I don't know how well that will work but I can easily replace it with a wilcox sheath with the screws and holes that are already there.
