Simplicity: A Matter of Design

Complicated read
I struggled with this book. The writing style was hard to follow. I returned the book, disappointed, because I find the subject very interesting.

Real insights into simplicity
There is nothing more difficult than creating a design that is simple to use and understand. And I mean real simplicity rather than adopting a minimalist aesthetic, which often does little more than temporarily obscure complex subject matter and usage. A very few designers do it well. And even fewer are able to write about it with any authority. Whether you are a designer or not, Per Mollerup's 'Simplicity: A matter of design' is a title that should be on your bookshelf.
