This key board cover works great! Slightly deceptive marketing photo, but what was I really expecting? Actually crystal clear keyboard cover? Anyways, the keyboard cover is translucent and does add a slightly gray cast over the keys. It is very thin (probably the thinnest one I have ever had in my experience for my other laptops in the past) and fits like a glove. No fingerprint marks as well so that's another plus! It does add a bit of rigidity to typing but I can get over it as I think the job it performs is well worth the price I paid to protect the keyboard. If you would like a more smooth feel with slightly less rigidity, I would suggest getting a silicone cover instead or forgo a cover entirely.

Really great product. It protects the keyboard on my brand new MacBook Air and will prevent the keys from damage crumbs, etc. from clogging them up and disabling them. Fits perfectly.Well worth the low price to protect the keyboard on my brand new 15" MacBook Air!

Cover is okay...serves the purpose. It is matte and not really clear but it is good quality none the less. I have had it for almost a year and use my laptop every day heavily for work. It is holding up nicely.

This fit my laptop exactly and was easy enough to apply. I really don't notice it much when typing and I'm so glad to have a barrier between my keyboard and the outside world. I bricked a laptop with a glass of wine once and this might have saved my previous computer had I had one. This is my second from this company and the previous laptop that had the cover for 3 years and no issues.

Works well but gets a tad bit hard to type fast

I ordered two of these. One is clear but it looked as if the keys had a film over them so I decided to try the tinted. I really like it. It looks fairly normal. It still allows for some tactile response with typing and it does't pick up dust or makeup. It protects well.

It fit fine, but laptop is designed to let cooling air through the keyboard---so this product would block that. I decided to return this item to protect against over-heating

I had read the reviews saying that the cover adds a certain stiffness to keystrokes, but thought I'd give it a try anyway. Overall, this has done the job admirably, but it does add stiffness that has affected my typing speed. For the dust and finger oils protection it offers, I'm willing to put up with it. I suggest pairing it with a microfiber screen cleaning cloth/cover which will also prevent any imprint being transferred to the screen from oils that attach to the cover while typing. After using it for several months now, it is clear that it will eventually wear down a little after a couple of years of use, but much better that I need to purchase a replacement cover than a replacement keyboard! I recommend it highly as a transparent cover; for a colored/translucent cover I might consider silicon which doesn't seem to add as much inertia or stiffness to the keystrokes.
