Genuine Shimano good braking power
These replace the B01S which are the pads my MT500 brakes came with. Shimano says they will last longer, cannot comment on this yet. However I have noticed immediate stopping power with no need to bed them in. They come with three pins (?) which appears perhaps slightly different (?) but I am noticing this now (pads installed earlier..) so I don't really know which pin I used. I don't think it's important but you may want to investigate prior installation. EDIT: August 2022 note to myself mostly but just in case: these B03S (which replaced the B01S) have now been replaced again! with the B05S.

Good brake pads.
My husband really like these and found them very easy to put on his electric bike that we have just bought some more for my bike.
