I purchased this for my brother as per his request. He was thrilled. Presentation is exceptional and it came in pristine condition in one day. It is made in China not Italy. I have included comparison to one from Italy which is at least 30 years old or older, ( hence it needing a baking soda cleanse), verses the size of this one. This feels like plated stainless steel in feel and weight; though it was sold as platinum over sterling. Either way, the price was not so crazy that it requires a return. The quality for stainless is acceptable. Had it been a copper base or nickel it would have gone back.If they had another in stock I would buy another. Perfect for gifting!I attached it to a stainless steel necklace over a standard stainless dogtag. It weighs altogether but at least it is hypoallergenic.
