Good quality. I've been through 3 plastic bird feeders but this one feels sturdy. It's metal not plastic and it doesn't collapse. Worth the price.

This bird feeder comes apart easily for cleaning. It holds about 8 cups of bird seed, so I might fill it up every other day. It is not completely squirrel resistant as they sometimes manage to lift the lid and dump out the seed. I put Vaseline laced with cayenne pepper on the shepherd’s hook where I hang the feeder and that keeps the squirrels away for a time. The larger bird like doves and woodpeckers have a harder time at this feeder because of their size, but they still manage to get seed from it. It is durable.

I purchased two of these as a replacement & spare for a competing brand (bombed by racoons and semi-broken) ... I like the other brand fine but for a change I tried this one. It assembles easily, tightens down sturdily and the metal construction seems like it will last.On the downside: A little hard to fill from a step ladder (unscrew the top cap, remove the lid, hold the cylinder which is no longer tethered, fill through a smallish opening, reassemble); I need to refill feeders daily so this is an issue for me. The holes which feed the birdseed down seem a little small ... my Audubon Premium seed hardly feeds through. Medium and up sized birds seem to have a hard time alighting to feed. As another reviewer suggests, it is smaller than it appears, and I don't think the 2.6 lbs. of bird seed capacity is correct (my other feeders which are larger list this same capacity).For small birds and finely sized seed, it is a probably a good solution. It has a dainty, somewhat decorative profile and could enhance a garden setting.

I didn't know where to place the birdhouse or how to care for it. Alaska Fish and Game has a step by step 'how to' including it should be of wood, it should allow air flow, it should not have perch (prevents presators from easy access) and the wood should rough and unpainted on the inside (rough because baby birds need a little help getting a footing to get out). These birdhouses are perfect (except for the perch). We put two up and the first afternoon we had interest! There are negative comments regarding the construction. rough wood etc. but these are exactly what birds need. Thank You!

This is the first time I've ever written a review on Amazon, but there is inaccurate information throughout this listing and the product is not what was advertised. I purchased two of these bird feeders at the same time. Upon opening, I received two different feeders. One was brown and one was an oil rubbed bronze. One has a glass tube and the other has a plastic tube. One has a button to open at the top to fill with seed and the other has a screw on top. I overlooked these things, but now that I have used these feeders, I am very disappointed. It says different types of seeds can be used and one of the pictures even has a fruit/nut blend. I specifically use black sunflower seeds because it draws a wide variety of birds. I noticed this morning none of the birds were using either of these feeders. Upon inspection, the seed was stuck in the tubes and wouldn't come out of the holes. I was able to use my finger to get some of them out, but I couldn't even get some of the holes unblocked for the seed to come out at all. At this point, I've unboxed the item and used it, so I can't return it, but I'm hoping this review keeps others from purchasing.

I really like this bird feeder. It is cute, metal so holds up better and easy to hang and fill. The only thing I noticed was the seller really has this item in the box snugly so do watch when taking it out. I opened both ends of the box so I could shove it out the bottom. Otherwise I was worried I would cause breakage to the bottom of the feeder pulling it out the top.
