Didn't Work
This product did not work for me. I got a tiny nick on my arm and I rolled the Nick Stick over it many times. It continued to bleed and I put on a spot bandage. I am not using any blood thinners and have no trouble with my blood coagulating. The shaving sticks my father had used to sting like crazy. There was no sting with the Nick Stick but no result either.

More expensive and less effective than a simple block of alum.
I love Pacific Shaving Company's pre-shave wash and shaving cream, so I bought this to try it out. I found that for anything beyond the mildest abrasions, this nick stick wasn't effective. It's also fairly expensive for how small it is, and has quite the burn. I'd recommend buying an alum styptic pencil at your local drug store for a dollar or two - it will be cheaper, far more effective, and last longer. Do check out Pacific Shaving Company's face wash and shave cream though.

Doesn't Work, Reaction Issues
This product mostly just does not work. Sure, there is the occasional time when it seems to work, but those times are few and far between. What irks me most about this product is the rollerball solution to applying the ointment- the ball does not seem to adequately catch the surface of the skin, especially after a clean shave... i.e. when you would use the product. Further, one of the ingredients in the formula has, at times, left my skin red and slightly itchy. All said I'll be switching back to styptic pencils and good ol' aluminum sulfate. The only reason I leave this product with two stars is that on the rare occasion it did work.

Good Stuff!!
It works! The day after I received this item, I nicked myself in two places while shaving. Strange because it is rare that I nick myself at all, let alone twice during a shave. Be that as it may, I took out the Nick Stick, touched it to the two nicks. One stopped bleeding instantaneously, the other took a second dab of the magic liquid. Done, finito, my precious blood was well contained because of Nick Stick!! As such, I highly recommend this product. Oh yeah, one other thing, it didn't sting too much, that made me extra happy.

Not as good as real Styptic stick.
It works good enough for very tiny cuts. But for bigger ones, a styptic stick works best. Also, my upper lip area seems to be sensitive to this Nick Stick. When I apply it on a cut, the area turns red. Feels like acid on my cut. I have to put on blemish cover up after to cover up redness.

Good for small nicks some of the time
When I do a second shave against the grain sometimes I get next just like everybody. About 50% of the time this product is effective at stopping leaving, but, there is that other 50% where it doesn't. I don't gouge my face when I shave, so that is not the issue. for instance, today on my upper lip I applied the product yeah blood still kept seeping in tiny little dots from my upper lip. Next time I'm going to try a dry powder and hopefully I will get the results I'm looking for.

Works well
My husband takes baby aspirin daily for his heart and when he nicks his face shaving it bleeds and bleeds. This product seems to control it quickly.

Not as effective as an old-fashioned styptic pencil
The roll-on applicator is nice because the application feels smooth against my skin, however, it doesn't stop minor bleeding from nicks for a long period of time. It seems to just "cover" the nick temporarily until it dries because remnants of the bleed will eventually show. Not effective in my experience.

Convenient and works well.
I use a safety razor and every once in a while manage to nick myself (shaving when not paying enough attention). The nick stick works well and doesn't seem to leave the white residue that I get when using a regular styptic pencil. Less mess and doing the job means I can get on with things without advertising my cut or getting blood on my collar.
