Rope was less than 3” long, not enough to loop the handle through.

I like these no nonsense fictional handles. Do not understand why the pad eyes do not have a cutout for the handle rope. The design pinches the rope between the pad eye and the rope, instead of allowing the rope to slide beneath the pad eye which I believe works better when having to angle the boat on tight areas or placing on a storage rack.I suggest adding wide spread rivets as most applications the underside of the deck is inaccessible. I ordered GEUNTECH 10 Pcs Kayak Pad Eyes Kit and used the rivets in it for installation. I also filed out the bottom of the pad eye to allow the handle rope to move rather than be pinched. Also allowed pad eye to set flat to deck as it should.

Work very well for a garage door. If they can pull a large, heavy garage door up and down every day, they can work for a canoe or a kayak for sure.

This are great handles, except for the nuts and bolts that comes with it. It's impossible to install using them in the bow of a kayak. Had to use my own screws instead.

They are nice looking, price is good. However I agree with the others that said the cord should be longer. Also they do NOT come with SCREWS as stated in the description, they are Nuts & Bolts. Can't use them on a sit on top kayak or on the bow where there is no access to the inside
