What if this was a Lego set?
It would be 15% better designed (it can't really be played with, so if you're looking for a set for the kids to walk their minifigs through, you'll be disappointed - the sides don't come off and the top only exposes a small part of the interior), it would be 15% easier to build (sometimes you have to knock something out of the way to put in a new part and then replace the part you knocked out) and it would cost 100% as much. This was my first Nifeliz set and it will not be my last, I already ordered the post office. Lego sets are simply too expensive and they play games with the consumer like only making sets for a "limited time, buy now!" and then encouraging hawkers and hackers to sell their sets like collectables. Forget Lego, buy Nifeliz and get a toy, not an overpriced museum piece. My 7 year old daughter built 80%+ of this herself and I only helped when she got stuck. It kept her busy for somewhere between 10 and 15 hours total. When done, we put the included lights inside (just one of the rows of lights was more than enough, we can use the other rows on a future building I hope) and it looks fantastic.Their sets come with no minifigs by the way so for those you'll have to get SOME Legos, or, better yet, find some made by a company that respects families and consumers, toys and children.

Botanical Garden or Little Shop of Horrors?
I’ve never done a set that wasn’t made by LEGO, but I had high hopes for this one because I loved the design, and I thought it would look great with my modular buildings. When I finally got it together, it was nice, but there were some serious problems. I was shorted 5 bricks, and two of them were crucial, so I had to raid my extra LEGO bricks to MacGyver something together to substitute for them. Several of the bricks were scratched and smudged with something that wouldn’t wipe off, I had to get my jeweler’s tool that I use to untangle knots to try to widen the holes in the 1x1 plates because the sticks wouldn’t go in, and if that didn’t work, I had to hold the plate on the edge of the table and use a hammer to pound them through. Most of the bricks didn’t want to lock together smoothly, either. There were times when the directions kept putting the proverbial cart before the proverbial horse, and that cherry tree was the spawn of Beelzebub when I tried to make it fit. It kept knocking over the other trees and plants like some big, flowery bully! Because the sign was a bit spooky, I’d already decided to ditch part of the design and build an Audrey II, and I’m glad I did. Compared to the LEGO modular buildings, this was a Little Shop of Horrors to build, and while I’m pleased with the end result, I’m gonna stick with the real deal from now on.

A difficult build, but you can make it easier
I agree that this is a difficult build. There are a lot of small builds inside that fall apart easily when trying to add more things. I found advice to build the lower glass walls separately, then add them as a unit; that was a big help. Working around the center cherry tree is really tricky; it might be worth making a smaller tree that goes out in all 4 directions?Nifeliz is a bit pricier than some other versions I've seen, but the quality of the pieces is absolutely top notch. Some also come with instructions for adding the lights.Using removable Lego glue would also help a lot. I didn't use it here, but I've used it on MOCs where the design clearly won't support itself (a damselfly's tail and legs, for example).Still, a very nice display piece that will likely keep you busy longer than other 2,000 piece sets.

Assembly Is Difficult
Looking fun at first glance, I bought this set thinking it would be a nice deviation from Lego. Wrong! Assembly is not easy when it comes to the "glass" curved panels that need to be installed on either side of the set. There are ten 1x1 supports that line the outside of the structure, each being held in place by a single knob on a jumper. Right off, that is way inadequate because as you try to attach the glass panels, these supports just fall off their base. Next, with the clear panels in place, a 2x12 plate and a 4x4 plate are supposed to be pressed onto the clear panels. This is not happening as the panels flex and have no support when you press the plates into place. Also, the ten upright supports fall off easily. They are supposed to pressinto the plates to be held into place. No way can that happen as the upright supports simply move away when the plates are pressed down. Overall, this is not a well thought out assembly procedure and makes for a frustrating build. I'm not sure how I can support the upright supports from the inside as the plates are pressed into place. Ans all the while, little flower assemblies are falling all over the place. Not fun.

The Botanical Garden Is An Amazing Centerpiece.
I purchased this set for my sister who has MS. She wanted something to help her with her hand dexterity, and has been putting together a large "Block Toy" display that is mostly composed of natural scenes blended in with an Urban backdrop. I figured this would be a nice hook to tie the theme together, and I was not disappointed. My sister relished putting this together. Absolutely enjoyed it. She constantly remarked about the level of detail in this set and how amazing it is. It took her a little while to put together and when she finished, she tied it to her pastoral scene with a couple of river base plates.I must not have read the description correctly when I purchased this, because my sister remarked something about this looking good with LED's. So I reached out to the seller, who not only replied promptly, but was exceptionally nice; who told me there are LED's in the kit, but would ship more if they were missing. Before I could ping my sister to tell her to check for the lights she texted, "BRO! THERE ARE LED'S!" ...Long story short. My sister is enamored with this piece, and it looks amazing in her setup. Y'all gave my sister, an artist who hasn't been able to use her hands functionally for a long time, a beautiful project that allowed her to use her hands and produce something amazing. Thank you. These are gorgeous sets that you produce.
