I have always been annoyed by how difficult our old garlic crusher was to clean after use.That is the reason why I decided to try this out.The crusher feels solid and robust. It's worked pretty well for me, although it does require a little elbow grease to get good results.I top and tail each clove, remove the skins and then crush away.The resultant crush isn't the finest, but it's fine for most recipes.I don't find the rubber tube to be much use at all, it's supposed to aid removal of the skins of garlic cloves, but I find it takes longer that just using a knife to do this.Likewise the brush is pretty pointless, I again use a knife to remove the crushed garlic from the crusher.The joy of this type of crusher is that you can simply pop it in the dishwasher after use and it emerges clean as a whistle 🤓It's pretty cheap too, I'm glad I bought it.I hope you find my review helpful.

Super simply product and the best garlic crusher I have ever owned. It beats traditional garlic presses hand down as they are difficult to clean and often leave garlic partially crushed. Key tip: I usually re-crush the garlic once or twice because if you do it once, the garlic comes out in small little balls and the flavour doesn't blend with the other ingredients as well. By crushing it a few times the garlic turns into a puree which brings out the flavour properly when cooked with other food. Great product and I highly recommend.

Useful kitchen aid. It needs however strong pressure to squash the garlic, it also needs a little spoon to remove the garlic. Cannot press more than three garlic cloves without the need to clean it as it tends to clogg up. Wahes really well in dish washer. If you are really strong, then go for it.
