Light and fresh
I need to eat low fat and salt, but love a bowl of soup. This is light, fresh tasting - not overwhelming on spice

A good warm flavour
A lot of people don't like this, I can see.I'm going to try and explain the flavour. It's got a similar colour and consistency as a South Asian lentil daal soup, first off. Being of two separate cultures that eat daal, I can say it's not as smooth and creamy, which I actually don't mind because the root veg are roughly blended and I like texture.Anyway to the flavour, it's a tiny bit peppery and you can taste a hint if ginger and a some turmeric. So these add a warmth. Other than that it has a good tasty blend of the veg which is not like baby food, but more like an ever so slightly tangy daal. You can't separately taste the flavours of each veg.I went through an entire tin standing by the sink at 7am, I found it that morish. The second time I had this, I sprinkled a bit of cayenne pepper and garlic granules, gave it a mix and dunked some rice in it.This is my opinion only though. I suspect the reason I like this so much is because I've been off lentil daal for years now due to legumes causing me pain. I avoid all lentils and most beans due to the lectin content being the cause of inflammation. So to find this being as close as possible to the daals I used to eat, I'm diving right in.*For anyone who is avoiding lectin foods but miss the legumes and lentils, I would try this and even customise it as I did*.You might find it as tasty as I did. I hope I portrayed the flavour and texture as accurately as possible so you can make an informed decision before buying.

Disgusting !
I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to as I was so disappointed with this soup l was looking forward to trying this after reading the ingredients it sounded a healthy tasty soup . Couldn't be further from it this soup was like water and on opening it I thought it smelt off it was a watery mix of a few tiny bits of carrot and some sad old bits of coriander basically it was like a very cheap value tin of carrot and coriander soup .I was unable to eat this and no one else could either so in the bin it went luckily I only bought 2 tins but we're still expensive for a tin of soup won't be buying again I'll be sticking to tried and trusted from now on .

Curry soup without chunky vegetables
It is tasty however missing chunky vegetables or pasta etc . It reminds me sad hospital foods of liquid before my operation when I was little … they could have added something solid to enjoy chewing or eating. It requires to add something such as cheesy bread or boiled vegetables or beans etc ! Slightly disappointed. This is merely a curry hot water without meats or vegetables. But taste good .

Poor packing
Driver apologised for book folder being open. He asked me to check content ok. Tin and card packing was in plastic bag. Black mark for thinking a book folder was suitable for a tin.. No damage to contents
