I really didn’t know exactly what I was getting. Being a HUGE fan of favorite, one-of-kind, ILE, I always look so forward to any medium praising this remarkable ship. What I found to be clever and infinitely readable was the fun, semi-truthful, well researched last voyage of the Ile de France. Accurate and historically well researched, this special type of mixing documentary and great, interesting fictional characters and incidents works beautifully.If you can appreciate fun & fiction, mixed with true incidents, I cannot speak highly enough of this tome.It’s a fairly quick read; sprinkled with photos.This author MUST continue in this vein. Any detailed subject may satisfy every reader.
