This notebook cover is beautiful and very well made. It feels like it will last me the rest of my life. I really like it.I normally use a Leuchtturm B5 for journaling, and they fit really well. But I recently decided to try out a Midori Notebook. Although it is a 5 x 8 notebook, it still fits well on this cover.Bottomline, if you want a solid leather cover for your notebook, get this.

Very good product. Fi ts my B5 notebooks perfectly. Leather nice satin finish. No obvious flaws in leather. Stitching was great. Only nit is thepen loop - I could do without it - it just gets in the way. Oh and no smell as stated in other reviews , they must have listened and changed their process. B

Love the fit, look and feel of the leather. However, the cover has a strong chemical smell to it, similar to lawn fertilizer. I have left it out in garage for a few days with minimal improvement. It may improve with more time but for now I am letting it air out in my garage rather than use it.

It was very well made but it was too big for what I needed it for and I returned it.

Beautiful piece of work that fit my portfolio perfectly.It didn't have a bad smell. It just smelled like leather.I'm very happy.

Worth it!

This thing smells like chemicals so bad. Put it in the garage to air out but it stunk up the space. Next day put it outside. After two day’s the smell started to subside. If it starts to smell like leather in a couple more days I’ll keep it. I’m no longer producing offspring so not worried about the gene pool but gosh it sure makes me wonder.Update: Seven days of exposure to the outside elements, and it now smells like leather. I had to flip it every other day. I brought it indoors for a group smell test, and it passed. The wife and children gave me a thumbs up; it's a keeper.

I am finding the leather a little stiff atm. Hoping it softens with use. But I think it is a great product overall
