In my travels around garden centers, I have encountered these pot saucers in two renditions: the heavier ones that resemble the construction of a plastic dinner plate and these that are as flimsy as a floppy hat. You can find these for about $.89 in most stores, so this is no bargain. But if having them delivered to your door is important, then go for it. I double them up to protect against unwanted splitting and spills.

While labeled as 12", they will not hold a 12" pot. The description discloses that the bottom inside diameter is 10.5" It is at least this diameter at the bottom.They are much more cost effective than a terra cotta or ceramic saucer. They also are clear, so there is no issue about matching the pot. Trying to save money, I've used containers for prepackaged fruit and produce, and they were not durable at all and quickly became brittle and cracked.They are durable and the ribs can handle the crushing of a heavy pot without cracking. Being plastic, they might be more brittle if cold. I bought these before and they have lasted at least a year indoors. Outdoors, they wear out sooner and become brittle from the elements and especially the sun. Given the price, I still am completely satisfied.Durability and sheerness were also characters to be rated. They have no durability to support the weight of the planter, but this is not their intended purpose. The rim is strong enough to support the weight of the water that will fill it. If sheerness means clarity, they are clear when new, but will cloud from the residue left from the evaporating water.Price was competitive with the warehouse stores.

I've had these plant saucers for *almost* a month now, and from what I can tell, there are no damages or tears in the plastic. Nonetheless, they LEAK and I just replaced them. If you're looking to keep your floors DRY, PICK ANOTHER PRODUCT! (The HARD plastic saucers I replaced them with, *also* cost less! These saucers are truly JUNK.

i rarely leave reviews but i had to on this item. these are not sturdy or hardened plastic they are barely a step above saren wrap for the price i was expecting something much more impressive. i kept them only because i had to plant the plants in my pots but i will be replacing these with something that will hold up longer than a week.

These Plant Saucers are good for both indoor and outdoor plants. I have plants which I put outside when the weather is warm, and inside when the weather turns cold. These saucers help me to transport them. Also, the saucers catch any water overflow, in case I over-water the plants when they are inside. The saucers help protect my floors, carpets and furniture. I also love the large size because many of my plants are in large pots.

It was just what I needed for a lovely pot I have that had no saucer of it's own. It is clear so it isn't conspicuous and does the job I need it to do. It's plastic, not real heavy but certainly able to be moved and adjusted without it breaking or tearing. I don't know how well it would stand up if one were needing to regularly move or change it around. It certainly would not hold up if it was used to hold and carry a heavy pot, even one without a plant and dirt.

I had a 12 inch double plant stand, and I needed a plant saucer on the bottom of my plant container so I would not destroy my plant stand when I watered my plant. The 10 inch plant saucers worked perfectly for this. Just the right fit, and holds the water if I over water. Love them.

Well, I'll keep them because they do work, and I don't like to return anything without a very good reason, but for the money they are not really worth it. I assumed for $11.00 the plastic would be more substantial, stiffer. As flimsy as these saucers are, the mark-up must be at least 800% . . . just a guess.
