My parents loved this gift for Christmas with access to all of thei photos and videos that can be moved around the house they were delighted and I would highly recommend

Works fine. Customer service is laughable. Got in touch with CS whose response to question "How do I access the built-in 8gb memory?" was 'No'. So I sent email of complaint to high-up in Kodak ... no reply! The name "Kodak" was once synonymous with goodness, reliability etc., - not any more. Keep well away from this (now Chinese-made) product and name. The name "Kodak" non longer signifies reliability. It's C**P.

It did not work, so had to be returned; maybe we could have got it working but the instructions were rudimentary in the extreme. They are apparently available on line - but they have to be paid for to be downloaded, which seems to be wrong. So, take note unless you are familiar already with this item. (Not that it worried us, but we noticed that the instructions in some languages were in the wrong language - probably sloppy 'copy and pasting').

I love this frame. The wood seems to be a good grade and color. The display is excellent, the controls on frame and remote control are good, just wish it had auto rotation to view vertical photos. If you put only vertical photos, they are too small to fill the screen. The seller said they are in process of making same frame with auto rotation and price will be about the same. Will update review if and/or when this happens.

The only nice things I can say about this product are that the digital frame itself is nice to look at, the wood frame is pretty, and the pictures are clear when they are displayed. However, the product comes with no real instructions (just the "getting started" guide, which doesn't tell you much). I searched online and finally found the User's Manual on Kodak's website, but it wasn't much more help than the Getting Started guide. There are buttons on the remote that are not explained anywhere. When I tried to display my photos on any setting other than "Original Size", the photos were either stretched and distorted, or the edges were cut off. On original size, the photos don't fill the screen. I could live with the Original Size setting, but what really turned me off to this product was the fact that it never played through all of the photos on my USB (which was well under the maximum size allowed). Even when I went into the thumbnails and chose the first photo on the USB to start the slideshow, it never played through all of my photos. After about 15 minutes it stopped playing through, and then it picked a random photo and played for 15 minutes and started the cycle again, only playing through a small portion of the photos on my USB. To say that I'm frustrated and disappointed with this product is an understatement.

This is a good product except there is a problem using it …it doesn’t work the way it should

I bought this frame for a Christmas present for my mom who is not tech savvy so she does not get to see all the photos and videos (still has a landline phone). I wanted to send this all set up so all she had to do was put the stand on a plug it in. I was very excited about the video part so I could send different videos but the videos appear upside down, and show up fine everywhere else. I tried format converters and several different things, and even my son who is a programmer could not figure it out. My son bought me a Kodak digital frame years ago and I still play it so that is why I chose to go with Kodak this time but now I think I made the wrong decision. I also found that having seperate folders does not stop photos from mixing. I thought it would be nice to include a seperate folder of zoo or scenic photos since my parents are stuck in due to the pandemic. I even tried to put them on the internal memory and they still mix with the other pictures.
