I have been using some slightly cheaper buds. My old ones are ok, not loud enough and frequently fell out of my ear. I thought I would try for an upgrade and Amazon products have never let me down, so I went for the echo buds. There are much more expensive options on the market, but I did not want to go that far. I particularly wanted to have the options of Alexa. For the extra 20 pound the difference is amazing. The echo buds feel a lot more substantial and they fit in the ear very well and feel so comfortable. The sound quality is also a huge improvement and the ability to use Alexa to get the music I want, make phone calls and get information without getting my phone out. Great product it makes having the experience of going for a walk and choosing and listening to music, making phone calls so much easier and a better experience.

I bought these earphones a couple of years ago and they are terrible. The sound quality and noise cancelling are good, but the earphones are plagued by so many issues that they are just furstrating to use. By far the most annoying thing i how quickly the case battery drains. It lasts less than a day, and once it runs out, no matter how charge the actual earphones are, you CANNOT connect them to your phone without the case, so they are unsusable. They also constantly notify me that they are connected to my phone, even if my phone bluetooth is off and not in the room - it repeatedly announces that the headphones are connected, drowning out any music i am listening to, making them useless to actually listen to anything. They often don't play sound when they are meant to. they constantly pause the song you are listening to, and in cold weather (less than 10 celsius) the touch buttons go haywire and start pausing, enabling and disabling the nnoise cancellation and announcing connection/disconnection from various devices at pleasing. Absolutely unusable. stay well clear, at any price.

I was tempted to buy these because of one of those unbelievably cheap, once only, never to be repeated deals, that you later find repeated a few months later. But, they were incredibly cheap. I normally use Apple AirPods, but they do not have noise cancellation and the tap controls are limited. So I thought I would try these. I have been alternating between the AirPods and Echo Buds. The first thing I noticed is that I can leave the AirPods on the shelf for weeks and they still have plenty of charge to use all day. However, after leaving the Echo Buds on the shelf for a few weeks and the battery is totally flat. They will not connect to my phone until plugged into a charger and recharged. I don’t know if that is a fault with Buds I have, or a general issue.Update on battery - I spoke to Amazon support and to my surprise they confirmed that the batteries in these buds and the case will run down to flat if not used for a couple of weeks. I thought mine must be faulty, but according to Amazon, this is just what I should expect.I don’t have enough experience with noise cancellation to compare but I would say these are OK, not brilliant, not enough for you to say, wow when you turn it on, but OK. Because of the different size rubber ear pieces the fit is much better than the AirPods and therefore, there is automatically better noise cancellation that the AirPods even when they are off. The app that helps you pick the correct size for the rubber ear piece is really useful.
