Product arrived very quickly and was well packaged.It is very good quality and very realistic, really pleased with it.

we tried thes on a couple of fiers , one gas and one ethanol and res there was some effect but it realy wasent a realistic look so we have stopped using it . The problem may be the type of gas fire we were using (stnd living room coal effect one) but I cant realy see how it could be that realistic having used it - It was better when you turned up the fire to a medium/high flame but in our location that is far to hot . The pack comes with the medium size vermiculite mixed in with the glass wool so when you lay it out quite a lot of the vermiculite drop through fire - we ended up having to remove the existing coals and hoover it out as it was partualy blocking the gas jets

Too much wool in this product.Ended upNot using it and ordered another product.

I was a little disappointed with this product as there was very little vermiculite and an abundance of rock wool and at least half the bag is now in a cupboard unused.

the proportion of mineral wool to vermiculite was about 80 to 20%

Bought this for a friend. He says it works fine.
