Expertly engineered and just my size!
I never thought I'd write an excellent review of an ironing board! This ironing board has been excellently engineered. At first I thought the orange feet would be made of plastic and slip on my floors, but they are made of a very sturdy rubber that has a firm grip. Second, you can adjust the height to whatever you need it to be very simply. At 5'1" this was a real plus. The length of it is long enough for long pants and draperies and the padding is thick enough for the press I need to give a firm crease. It has a hanger you can hang in a close and an iron rest. Great job Happhom!

Cute but worthless
The media could not be loaded. I needed a second ironing board. I was just using it for the first time and stopped ironing to write this review; because, I am highly disappointed. This ironing board is cute and I like the fact that it has a hanger. However, the overall design and functional use is an issue. The "legs" are closer to the end of the board so that when ironing a collar, for example, at the narrow end of the board, the entire ironing board wants to tip forward. I took a photo that shows I am able to tip it forward by slightly pressing on the end with my index finger. This allows you to see how easy it would tip forward when actually pressing an iron at that end of the board. The span of the legs is not wide enough for where they are positioned to the board. Secondly when ironing the actual board pops because the metal, which I am thinking is aluminum, is too thin. Thirdly, I am 5'2" and the maximum height puts the board at my waist. This means a person taller than I, and almost everyone is, will have to slump over to iron. This ironing board is flimsy, cheaply constructed, and not functional because of its design.

Perfect for me
I'm in my 70's and can no longer lug around my full-sized ironing board. This lightweight board is a great alternative. I hung it on a hook on the wall behind my bedroom door and can get it down and set up with no trouble. Being lightwwight, it isn't as stable as my old board - I need to be careful to not lean too hard, especially at the pointed end, or the board will tip. Just a matter of getting used to doing things a little differently. My only real criticism is that the "Extra Thick Heavy Duty Padded Cotton Cover" is no such thing. It's too thin to iron on effectively. I purchased "Encasa Homes Replacement Ironing Board Cover" in size medium and put it over the original cover. Together they make a decent ironing surface. The Happhom board won't replace a decent full-sized ironing board, but it's an acceptable alternative when a full-size board isn't practical.

The perfect size for me!
Happhom Ironing Board, Compact and Space Saver: I had my ironing board for many years, but it was not in good shape any more and I wanted something smaller. This was perfect! I moved my sewing machine into our office so space is more limited now. As you can see in the pictures, this compact one is only slightly smaller than my old one, but it fits very neatly into the space that I have between my sewing machine and my sewing cabinet. That way I don't have to be closing it up and putting it away when it is not in use. I just move it out of the way when I am sewing.I do have one complaint though. I am not happy with the quality of the cover. The cover was looser than I wanted when I took it out of the box, so I decided to tighten it. Even before I pulled on the strings to tighten it, I could see that the fabric was starting to fray. It is nearly impossible to pull the strings and get the cover any tighter. I am afraid to mess with it any more because I don't want to make things worse. It is not something that will cause me to return it because I did not see other ironing boards that were this size. Because I know how to sew I will be able to repair any tears in the fabric, but the cover should never be designed the way that it is. I will probably end up replacing part of the cover with other fabric and finding another way to tighten it to fit the board. I think I will try using some elastic. That is the only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I am very happy with the ease of setting it up, with the size and the quality of the product itself.

Not Great
There are some great aspects of this product, but it definitely feels like a temporary solution and not a long-term item.1. The silicon mat for the iron is a great addition since the surface is fairly narrow.2. The hangar is nice for storage, but falls off pretty easily. Not sure why it wasn’t just attached to the board itself. Seems like an easy way to lose a crucial selling point of the product.3. Fold/unfold is super easy and can be done with 1 hand.Main concern is the durability of the board itself. The top of it is pretty standard, but the metal rack under the board top buckled after only a few uses without anything heavy weighting it down. Makes it difficult to get a flat press on clothes when the top of the board is concave.Overall, fine for a few uses but invest in a more durable board for long-term solutions or prepare to reinforce the board sooner rather than later.

This is lightweight and a good size!
Very impressed with this ironing board. So light weight and easy to put up and down. Locks in place and is sturdy. So easy to carry and hangs beautifully out of the way in the closet. It's the perfect thing for someone like me who needs to iron occasionally but doesn't need a full-size board. I love it! My big heavy 1960s wood and metal board will now be used as an extra table in my craft room.
