This product was at first working fine. Until I needed to clean it.Stagnant water develops nasty mild, so you are supposed to regularly clean anything exposed to water. So I did. When I plugged it back it emitted a strong spark (could have been dangerous!) and stopped working from then on.Looking at the electronic circuit, I was shocked to see it wasn’t protected in any way from water leakage! I mean, I expected an electronic machine that involves water to have its insides waterproof!Upon closer inspection I spotted a hair thin crack in the brittle base of the humidifier. So think I hadn’t noticed it, and considering I had barely handled it I’m pretty sure it came with the crack.That let in a minute amount of water which, the electronic board not being protected or fused, fried the whole thing.Too late for a return, which is super annoying since the crack was hardly noticeable (I took the photo after I sealed it with gorilla tape).I’ll try to get it fixed, probably a super cheap resistance to replace, but that may well cost more than the product itself.So there: another case where a cheap, brittle product totally fails at being safe and ends up producing a big waste of hard plastic.

Worked well up to the point it wouldn't turn on

Seems like a reasonable device until you fill it with water. Just leaks out of the tank all over the base and table. I’ll continue to try and get if to work but so far very disappointing.

I’ve had this product for a little over a month and use it intermittently. The humidity declined (the water level stopped going down) and the product started to overheat, a couple of days ago it appeared to be smoking - immediately unplugged it and it is now out of use. No option to contact the seller for a faulty return I assume because a month has passed but I would now be scared to turn on one of these and leave the house, or even be in a different room. Would encourage anyone to avoid this product all together.

This product didn't work so I will be returning it. Although the unit could receive power it did not create any fog at all. I would not recommend this model unfortunately.

Have only just used but leaking out and water everywhere.Very disappointed
