Awesome, dependable, inexpensive
I love the look and feel of the pencil. It rarely breaks lead, always loads and advances the lead, and is a joy to use. I especially love the burled metal grip for long writing sessions. It makes the pencil easy to hold and provides great counterweight and balance.

reliable
a consistent and reliable tool. better than any mechanical pencil i have or currently own. In terms of its own objective merits, this pencil is extremely durable and has a very comfortable weight and center of mass. I own 10 of these pencils and I use them on a daily basis. it is suitable for drawing, drafting, and conventional everyday use.As for its relative merits, it not only edures daily wear better than any other pencil, but feels weighty and more comfortable to the touch. I have dropped them dozens and dozens of times, and it has not been damaged despite the deceptively long and fragile tip.

Jokes aside, the eraser works great!
For the majority of my life I have written with larger lead sizes like .9mm or .7mm because that is what I grew up using and whenever I did use a .5mm I would either break the lead or tear through paper. This, in combination with pentel ain stein lead in 2b has made me reevaluate my opinion on .5mm lead pencils.Because the writing side of the pencil is more metal, it adds a little more weight which gives me more control when writing. The metal grip and its relatively thin design helps me with holding this pencil for extended writing sessions. The 2b lead also makes for a buttery smooth writing experience, Ain Stein seems pretty durable for a softer lead so I would recommend if you are a little heavy handed and like darker marks on paper. The most humorous aspect of this pencil is the eraser. I prefer either large exposed erasers, pencils with a twist eraser, or one that can fit an eraser cap. This Tombow has a twist eraser that is reasonably long, but it is incredibly thin. I guess this would be helpful for when I need to do a very precise erase mark and since this is more of a technical/drafting pencil, that makes sense. It works well and I like that it is easy to access, the size just gives me a chuckle.

A good one for the collection
FYI This is a very good pencil, the lead sleeve and grip are great as well as the body. The eraser is just too small; it can’t be used IMO.

well made and pleasing to use
I have always enjoyed Tombow writing instruments, and this does not disappoint. I appreciate the finely knurled gripping area and the clever retractable eraser. Great design, execution and value in an era of throwaway writing utensils.

Love it
This is expensive for a stylish design pencil, but I love it. I love the metallic green, the feel of the pen.It would be nice if they will give a erase refill to come along with this order. I have not idea where to order it buy the refill erase

Good pencil, great eraser
This is a well-built Tombow drafting pencil, but what makes it really special is the extendable eraser. It's the same slender 2.3mm eraser that's found in the Tombow Mono Zero stick eraser, and it's great for precision erasing. I'm happy to finally find this eraser in a good quality mechanical pencil. So far as I know the pencil is not available in the US, although the eraser refills can be found here. Shipping from this vendor was really fast too.

Good but not a metal barrel
The knurling is metal while the metallic colored barrel is plastic and this gives it a very weird weight-feel in the hand. I don't hate it but it's certainly not what I expected and lost it a star. I do the like the small eraser (twist the end cap to get it out) and I don't hate the pocket clip like some. It's definitely a cheaper mechanical pencil that would sell for less if it was normally distributed in the us like others, but still worth the $6 I paid for it. Just wish the barrel had been metal which would make it a solid 4 stars. I'd be willing to pay $10 had it been all aluminum given that it's coming from Japan with free shipping (in my case).

High quality solid feeling
Great pencil. I have the original Mono Graph pencil and this feels much nicer. Feels more solid. clip and clicking mechanism are very nice.

Breaks Lead
Not liking the rate at which the lead breaks as I advance it through the pencil or even while I write. I have taken it apart now and discovered the reason for the breakage. The tip is bent! I have owned this too long prior to this discovery to go for a refund, unfortunately. I will experiment with it until I get it to work or even toss it in the garbage if this proves unsuccessful. Good luck with your purchase.

Lieblings Druckbleistift

WRITING COMFORT
Technically, this is a draftman's pencil. However, I am using it for regular writing work [which I do for about four hours daily]. Excellent writing comfort in terms of the weight balance, knurled grip and grip width. I had previously purchased another colour of the same model. I purchased this one as a stand-by [just in case...].
