I used this hub to attach three external hard drives to my Mac Mini. The transfer rates are adequate and I have had no problems with the unit. I plan on adding a power supply in the near future to keep the external drives running well.

Works perfectly. Be warned though. The usb ports are VERY tight. You'll scratch up your flash drive.

If you need a USB 3.0 hub (aka 3.1 gen 1, 3.2 gen 1) which delivers a respectable 5gbps data transfer speed, this will definitely get the job done. Included power input port is a must-have, if you plan to run multiple hard drives or other power-hungry accessories. It does not include a 5V power adapter.

I see there is a negative review about the USB-C port not working. The device itself, along with the description, intend to explain this is 5v input only, not for data. This device works well and is fast. The small 3.1 port on the drive is for power, not data. This was clearly stated by the manufacturer, but I didn't notice. Otherwise works very well.

I used several USB hub. They all claimed support USB 3. But this is the only one I can plug a wireless mouse receiver, a wireless headset transmitter, and a external HDD on one USB hub but still working well. Mouse moving will not impact the wireless headset. External HDD will only has minimum impact on wireless headset sound during the heavy data transmission, but still acceptable.BTW, I saw somebody complaining that USB-C port not working. please be aware that USB-C port is intended to provide extra power to the USB hub, NOT to connect other USB device. Perhaps the maker should put a clear label on this port.
