Good game
A nice fun quick game that I bought for my neighbours birthday, nice quality and sturdiness what you would expect from a deck of cards, very easy to learn and nice and portable slips into your bag or a pocket, and the speed of learning and the playability is great.

A great family game
This is an excellent family game that has already kept us busy and made us laugh a lot. As a family we love to play card & board games and already this is one of our favourites.I would describe it as a cross between Uno and Happy Families. The aim is to collect the six letters to spell KRAKEN, whilst stopping everyone else from winning. There are lots of letter cards and then a selection of action cards which you can use to against your opponents; some allow you to steal their cards, see opponents cards and even make your opponents lose all their cards and start again. There are also a couple of cards that stop these actions or reverse them onto the other player. On each turn you place one card on a burn pile and then either complete the action or pick up a card. Each player has six cards and everyone should always have this number at the end of a turn. The rules are pretty simple, but not perhaps not as quick and easy as the information states. We had to play a few games to get the hang of it and there were a few times we had to figure out our own house rules to make the game work fairly. We also had to keep checking what some of the action cards were while we were learning what they all did. Even so, once we had it figured out, it was still a great game and not difficult to play. The recommended age is 7+, I think this is reasonable but the youngest may need a little more help to get started. Suitable for 2-8 players and again I think this is reasonable, we played with 4 people, you could play with 2 people but I do think it works better with 3 or more just because of how some of the action cards work, such as reversing play which would make no difference with 2 people. The game is very well made, the cards are excellent quality and the graphics are brilliant, with bright and fun images. It comes in a sturdy box to store them in, not the usual cardboard sleeve that will rip after a few uses that you get with most card games.Overall I’m really pleased with the game and have given it 5 stars because of how great the quality is but mostly how much fun we have had.

Playing cards
Looks a lot bigger on the site. Basically a set of playing cards. Fun, short game but not worth the cost sadly
